You've been thinking about this lately as I've been trying to get back into a regular exercise routine. It feels like life just keeps getting in the way, and then there are days when you're so tired from work that you can barely make it through a full day of work, let alone go out for a run.

But then you think about all the benefits of exercise: better sleep, more energy throughout the day, improved mood, more self-confidence… it's hard to come up with an excuse not to take care of yourself and feel good.

So, today, instead of focusing on what you should do and feeling guilty when you don't manage to fit in your workout, you're going to focus on what small things are within your control and how they add up over time.
